Curlwave Warranty & Guarantee Information

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law (as outlined in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Additionally, you are entitled to have the products repaired or replaced if they fail to meet acceptable quality standards, provided the failure does not constitute a major failure.

1. What is Covered by the Warranty/Guarantee?

This Warranty/Guarantee applies to customers who purchase Curlwave products directly from our website www.thecurlwave.com.

Products covered by this Guarantee include:

  • Curlwave P1 curling irons.

For returns due to a change of mind, please refer to our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

2. Procedure for Refund or Replacement of Faulty Items

  • Within 30 Days of Receipt: If your product is faulty, return it for a full refund, including original standard shipping charges. We will provide a prepaid shipping label. Alternatively, you may choose a warranty replacement.

  • After 30 Days but Less Than 6 Months: If your product is faulty, we will provide a warranty replacement and cover return shipping with a prepaid label.

  • After 6 Months but Less Than 1 Year: If your product is faulty, we will provide a warranty replacement. For refunds, we may deduct a reasonable amount to account for usage.

  • Over 1 Year from Receipt: If you experience any issues after one year, please contact us at support@thecurlwave.com so we can assist you.

3. Legal Information - What Isn’t Covered by the Guarantee

Curlwave tools are built for high performance, and we stand by our products. However, the following circumstances are not covered by our guarantee:

  • Accidental damage.
  • Use of non-approved accessories or components.
  • Purchases from unauthorized retailers.
  • Damage from improper use or failure to follow instructions.
  • Normal wear and tear, including barrel damage, product buildup, or cord damage.
  • External damage caused by transit, power outages, or surges.
  • Faults due to negligent use, misuse, or careless operation.
  • Repairs or alterations performed by unauthorized parties.
